vienna austria

hi  all,

blöödy internet keys so sorry

Now qat Vienna, home of strauss  and of cou8rse austrians. Great hotel used to be the guestb house of the royal prince so he could let his friends stays there- Very ornate and 1800s vintage. Two  days ago  had <a great get on the grog ride in  a buggy thtrough the forest and villages ofa a swiss town. Drank snapps and champagne and went to locaö pub formore drinks. lots oflaughter- Great area to livce in Meredith in Beanie and gloves cold. Saw farmhouse from 1400s still used. Yesterday went to Eagles Nest in Germany where  adolf hitler had his meeting place 6000ft up on top of a mountain hence the name. All original including anj ornate venetian glasslift and the fireplace etc that he used to stand in front of. Great photos.

Salzberg alsö yesterday saw< Mozart birthplace and  läöts  of old buildings and towns. Heps of hundre3ds of y4ears old catherdrals abd buildings. Great market place sellers of flowers, fruits, cheeses and everything else. Spending lopts of money but enjoying everything. Having trouble remembering what we did every day as fitting everything in. Thank goodness for diaries and photos. Today we are off around the city for a bit of a tour and then tonight heading into the vienna woods for a meal with copious amounts of drink to listen to a concert with no doubt a bit of strauss and cvlassicaol music should be a great setting for that. Tomorrow off to Assissi Italy for some more culture and sights. Thinking of a swim this sfternoon in the royal indoor pool followed by a sauna. Eating löts ofchockies when in other countries have to do as they do. Got the hang of using a bidet. Very funny as löong as<you siton it correctly.

Hey M and D, All is well. Got 2 unexpected bills for net and plumbing. Will pay. Having a problem with dogs in our yard. 4 at once (other than ours). Barry is going to help me patch up all the fences to keep them out. I can't believe how much Hunter is missing Dad! Went out to town sat night for Bec's 18th. Had the best time I have ever had in town with the gang. Pam and Jac are boring compared to these guys. Miss you heaps. Hope you both stay well and think of us often. Mum hope you have unwinded! Thanks Lys. Plumbing paid already but they obviously stuffed up along with the net. will sort ot out on the return. Thanks for looking after that for us. >Bloody dogs. Dont know where they are getting in. May have to call the council and report them if they keep on doing it. Mum has unwinded very well, helped by lots of young wine (and me) being my usual self.
Jen, love the sunnies. The big ones are all the rage here so you would fit in well in Italy.
Lys good to hear you had a good time out. Enjot yourself. We are missing you both lots. Keep writing stuff for us to keep us in touch with home.

I only realised the other day that matt and I have the same first initials as you too - bit of irrelevent info for you both! Your trips sounds fabulous. I'm so jealous. Can't wait for matt and I to do the same.School is running as usual - hectic. We ran our first 'Home Economics Antiques Warehouse' today - we decided to have a clean out of the kitchen. Meredith you'll be very proud of us when you get back. Think were all organised for P/T - the stickers we made for our dinner boxes look fantastic - looks very professional.We're so excited about it.

Matt's really liking work. Is finally getting some results with his classes - behaviour wise.

We are off to Rupertswood tomorrow to pick our block! Very excited. They are expected to be ready by end of january /start of feb. He is giving us one of the first options on selecting a block. Hopefully all works out well - and we might be starting to build shed at start of next year.

That's a quick up date on what's happening here - not as exciting as your stories!
